- How Do Hatch Guardrail Mount to the Hatch?
Hatch Guardrail use specialized brackets that bolt securely to the drip edge of the roof hatch. In most cases, the mounting bolts do not penetrate the hatch curb, helping to preserve the integrity of the roof structure.
- If I close the roof‑hatch lid, do I still need Hatch Guardrail?
A closed lid technically removes the opening, but in real‑world use people often leave the lid open to avoid being locked out, and you cannot be sure every worker will shut it afterward. Installing hatch guardrail delivers continuous, passive fall protection that keeps the hazard guarded whether the lid is open or closed.
